Next Task for Core 3 and Core 4: (Start on Dec 16th if you can or Dec 17th)
You must now create an Imagery poem by yourself!
Let's see what kind of author's craft you can show and what your style is!
Read Mrs. Rudder's poem to the right. Keep a balance of techniques.
Write this on notebook paper.
At the end of the poem write "Author Reflections".
Explain what your poem is about and the types of literary techniques you used and why.
Here is Mrs. Rudder's creation......
Guess what my poem is about?
Toss! PLOP! Hit the target!
Chomp, chomp, chomp.
A carmel explosion splatters like fireworks
confined inside the soft fleshy cave walls.
What a mess!
Gooey. Black.
Colors unseen as they hide in the cavern of my mouth.
But, I know they are there! Mmmmmmm....
Swirling mixtures of blacks and soft whites
sticking everywhere in the cracks
like gummy glue
gathering in chaos.
DOWN IT GOES! ANOTHER ONE PLEASE?
